We are situated only 3 miles from the market town of Settle on the A65, follow the brown tourist signs.
Whilst at the Falconry Centre there is lots of things to see and do and once you are here, you are welcome to stay all day!
We have a tearoom serving hot and cold snacks, a childrens adventure playground, an indoor lecture theatre with education room and
a gift shop for those special souvenirs.
The Flying Demonstrations
The most exiting part of a visit to the Falconry Centre is undoubtedly the flying demonstrations. During the spring and summer months we provide 3 daily demonstrations and 2 throughout the autumn and winter months.
Display times are as follows:
Summer (April - October) 12.00 noon 2.00pm 4.00pm
Winter (November - March) 12.00 noon 1.30pm

Each demonstration is different with up to 4 birds in each. All of the birds fly in a different way and hopefully this gives an idea of how different the birds natural behaviour is in the wild. During your visit you may even have to opportunity to hold one of the birds on the flying team, or even participate in one the demonstrations.

If you have a particular bird that you would wish to see flying, please phone the centre and we can tell you which demonstration it flies, to avoid any disappointment.
Please note:
If the weather is too inclement (Usually in the winter months) we have an indoor lecture theatre where certain birds can fly, so whatever the weather, you will see some birds fly on your visit.
